Boardroll

Paste a script or ad treatment and Boardroll breaks it into shots, suggests framing for each (wide, medium, close-up, insert) and draws rough storyboard frames in a consistent sketch style. Add voiceover or a scratch track and it times the frames into an animatic you can share as a video link.

Agency creatives and small production companies use it to sell an idea to a client before booking a crew. Characters stay recognizable across frames once you define them. The frames are intentionally sketchy so nobody mistakes them for final art, and it struggles with complex action or more than three characters in one shot.
