Citewell
Answers research questions with quoted passages from peer-reviewed papers
About this tool
Ask Citewell a research question and it searches over 200 million scholarly records, reads the most relevant full texts it can access, and answers with direct quotes and links to the exact paragraph. Each claim shows whether the supporting study was a trial, a review or an observational study, and how often it has been cited.
Clinicians, policy researchers and graduate students use it for fast orientation before a proper literature review. Citations export to Zotero or BibTeX. Coverage of paywalled journals is limited to abstracts unless your institution connects its library access, and it is not a substitute for a systematic review: it finds supporting evidence well and contradicting evidence less reliably.
