Docket Prose

Rewrites policies and notices into plain language without changing what they mean

About this tool

Docket Prose takes dense documents such as privacy notices, benefits policies or tenant letters and rewrites them at a reading level you choose. A side-by-side view links every plain-language sentence to the original clause, so a lawyer can confirm that nothing was softened, dropped or added.

Public agencies, HR departments and housing associations use it to meet plain-language requirements and cut support calls. Each rewrite carries a readability score and a list of defined terms it kept on purpose. It does not give legal advice and will not decide whether a clause is enforceable; it is a drafting aid that still needs a qualified reviewer before anything is published.

Highlights

  • 01Links every rewritten sentence to its source clause
  • 02Target any reading level from grade 6 to 12
  • 03Keeps defined legal terms intact on purpose
