Borough of Small Hours
Walk a city borough at 3 a.m. and talk to everyone still awake
About this game
You cannot sleep, so you go for a walk. The borough is quiet, but not empty: a night baker, a security guard, a woman feeding foxes, two teenagers on a bench. You talk, listen and come back the next night to find out what happened. Choices are small and human: whether to ask a follow-up question, whether to keep walking.
It is drawn in deep indigo with sodium-orange streetlights, and the sound design is all distant traffic and humming fridges. The game lasts about 4 hours across seven nights. It is for anyone who loves slow, well-written conversations. The caveat: there are no puzzles or goals beyond talking, so players who need a clear objective may drift.
