Pocketwatch

Expo and Supabase starter with RevenueCat paywalls and push notifications

About this starter

Pocketwatch gets a subscription app to the App Store review queue quickly. It uses Expo Router, Supabase for auth and data, RevenueCat for iOS and Android subscriptions with two paywall designs, Expo push notifications with a server-side sender, onboarding screens, offline caching with TanStack Query, and EAS build profiles for development, preview and production.

It is opinionated about native feel: haptics, native tab bars and Sign in with Apple are set up rather than suggested. The docs include an App Store submission checklist that saved us a rejection. The limitation: there is no web app. If customers also expect a browser version, you will be building that separately against the same Supabase project.

Highlights
