Mirela Serif

An editorial text serif with separate optical sizes for body and headlines

About this resource

Mirela Serif is a text family built for long reading on screens. It ships in two optical sizes: Text, with sturdy serifs and open counters for 14 to 20px, and Display, with sharper contrast for headlines. Each comes in four weights with italics, plus old-style figures, small caps and proper ligatures.

It suits publications, newsletters, documentation sites and brands that want a literary voice without sacrificing legibility on a phone. The $90 license covers 2 desktop seats and one website; ebook and app licenses are available. The caveat: the Display cut looks fragile below 24px, so stick to the Text cut for anything that isn't a headline.
