Tally Mono

An open-source monospace for code editors, terminals and data tables

About this resource

Tally Mono is a monospaced family designed to make similar characters impossible to confuse: zero is slashed, lowercase l has a tail, and the 1 has a flag. It comes in six weights with italics, optional programming ligatures in a separate build, box-drawing characters and Powerline glyphs. The variable version adds a weight axis.

It's ideal for developer tools, terminals, code snippets in documentation and numeric tables in dashboards. The fonts are released under the SIL Open Font License, so you can embed and bundle them freely. The caveat: the default line spacing is generous, which reads well in editors but needs tightening for compact data grids.
