Shortwave Logic

Tune an old radio and deduce who is broadcasting from where

About this game

Every evening the shortwave set on your desk picks up fragments: a weather report, a numbers station, two fishermen arguing. Each night is a logic grid. Using call signs, frequencies and offhand remarks, you deduce which broadcaster is in which town and at what hour. Solve enough nights and a larger mystery about a missing ship comes into focus.

The interface is a lovingly detailed radio in olive and cream, with real static and dial hiss. The full game runs 7 hours over 30 nights; the demo covers the first five. Logic-grid puzzle fans will love it. The caveat: some voice clips are muffled on purpose, and subtitles are available but turn a few puzzles into simple reading.
