Diffwarden

Reviews pull requests for risky changes and explains why, in a single comment

About this tool

Diffwarden reads each pull request in the context of the repository and leaves one consolidated review comment instead of twenty nitpicks. It focuses on changes likely to cause incidents: missing migrations, unchecked errors, concurrency mistakes, auth checks that disappeared, and tests that no longer assert what their names claim.

Engineering teams of ten to two hundred that already do human review use it as a first pass, so reviewers spend their attention on design. You can teach it repository-specific rules in plain English. It produces false positives on heavily generated code and very large refactors, and it never approves or blocks merges on its own; it only comments.

Highlights

  • 01One consolidated review comment per pull request
  • 02Focuses on incident-prone changes over style
  • 03Repository rules written in plain English
