SvelteKit & AstroSubscription
Clementine Stack
SvelteKit, Turso and Polar for edge-hosted subscription apps
About this starter
Clementine Stack targets cheap global hosting. It runs SvelteKit on Cloudflare, stores data in Turso with per-user embedded replicas, and sells through Polar for subscriptions, one-off purchases and license keys. Auth supports GitHub, Google and email codes. There is a usage dashboard, a feedback widget, transactional email via Resend, and a weekly digest job.
The subscription pays for updates: the author tracks Svelte, Turso and Polar releases and ships a monthly changelog. The kit is opinionated about edge-first architecture, which keeps latency low worldwide. The limitation: Polar is the only billing option. If you need Stripe for invoicing or a specific payment method, you will be writing that adapter yourself.
