About this starter
Haybale does three things: a marketing page with pricing, magic-link sign-in, and a Stripe Checkout flow that unlocks a paid area. There is a simple account page, a webhook handler with idempotency keys, and two emails. The whole kit is around 40 files on Next.js with SQLite through Drizzle, so it deploys to a single small server.
The author is opinionated about launching before building. The README suggests validating with a one-page product first and adding teams only when someone asks for them. The limitation follows from that: no teams, no admin panel, no i18n and no subscription management beyond the Stripe customer portal. You will outgrow it, which is the point, but plan for the rewrite.
