Contrast Ledger

A Figma plugin that audits every text layer in a file for contrast issues

About this resource

Contrast Ledger scans a Figma page or whole file and lists every text layer that fails WCAG contrast against its actual background, including text on images and gradients, where it samples the pixels behind each line. Results are grouped by component, so fixing a button style fixes 40 failures at once, and you can export a report for audits.

It's built for product teams preparing for accessibility reviews and agencies that need to show compliance to clients. Pricing is $8 a month per editor, with a 14-day trial. The caveat: scanning large files with hundreds of frames can take a few minutes, and hidden layers are skipped unless you turn them on.

Highlights

  • 01Samples pixels for text on images and gradients
  • 02Groups failures by component for faster fixes
  • 03Exports an audit report as PDF or CSV
