Thornwick Crawl

A one-thumb dungeon you can clear on a single bus ride

About this game

Thornwick Crawl fits a whole dungeon onto a phone screen held in one hand. You swipe to move, enemies move when you do, and each floor is a five-by-seven grid you can read at a glance. Clear eight floors in a row to beat a run. Potions, relics and a grumpy hedgehog companion change how each attempt plays out.

The pixel art is crisp red and cream, with tiny animations that make every hit feel weighty. A run takes 6 to 12 minutes, and there is a daily dungeon with a shared seed. Great for commuters and anyone who wants a roguelike with no tutorial wall. It is free with one optional $2.99 unlock for extra heroes; there are no ads, but the base game gets repetitive after a few weeks.
