Finance Operations Lead

Meterline handles billing for 700 software companies, and our own finance is still run by the CFO and a part-time bookkeeper. We're at the point where month-end close takes 15 days, and it needs to take five.

You'll be our first full-time finance hire under the CFO. In your first 90 days you'll own the month-end close, set up revenue recognition for usage-based contracts (yes, we see the irony), and put proper spend controls in place before our next audit. You'll work in NetSuite, our own billing data and more spreadsheets than you'd like at first.

The company spans Denver to Amsterdam, with a shared window from 15:00 to 18:00 UTC. Close checklists are written and shared, and the finance team meets twice a week.
