Issue No. 06 — The modern wedding
The organized engagement, a field guide
Fourteen months, ninety decisions and one very long guest list. A calmer way to get from the proposal to the first dance.
Weddings are mostly lists that depend on other lists. When a guest declines, the headcount, the catering quote and table seven all update on their own.

Why it works
Built for the parts of a wedding that cause the most texts
Hair and makeup at 9, photos at 1, ceremony at 3, speeches after the main course. Build the timeline once and share a read-only link with your vendors, wedding party and the friend holding the rings.
Guest list and RSVPs
Collect replies, meal choices and plus-ones through one link. Headcounts and dietary totals update as answers come in.
Budget tracker
Set a total, split it by category, and log every quote, deposit and final payment. See what's left before you book the band.
Checklist timeline
212 tasks spread from engagement to the week after, scaled to your date. Twelve months out or twelve weeks, it adjusts.
Seating chart
Drag guests onto round or long tables. Vowbook flags anyone without a seat, and couples or families split across the room.
Vendor contacts and payments
Every vendor's contact, contract, due dates and balance in one place, with reminders a week before each payment is due.
Wedding website
A simple site with your story, schedule, travel notes and registry links. RSVPs submitted there land straight in your guest list.
Features
All the lists, finally talking to each other
Guests, money, tables and vendors are connected, so one change does not mean updating four documents.

Testimonials
“The seating chart flagged that I'd put my uncle next to his ex-wife. That alone was worth the price.”
“My fiancé and I finally stopped asking each other 'did you pay the florist?'. It's right there with the date and the receipt.”
Chloe BennettMarried September 2026“We had 31 people who never replied. One reminder from the app and 27 answered in two days.”
Amara NwosuEngaged, wedding in 2027“We came in $1,800 under budget because we could see the catering creep while there was still time to fix it.”

FAQ
Questions, answered
Something we missed? Write to us. We reply within a day, weekends included in wedding season.
Contact supportWhy one-time pricing instead of a subscription?
Because your wedding has a date. Couple plans are paid once and stay active until 12 months after the wedding, so you have time to send thank-you notes and download everything.
Is there a limit on guests?
No. Every plan includes unlimited guests and RSVPs, whether you are inviting 20 people to a courthouse lunch or 400 to a two-day celebration.
Can I import my existing guest list?
Yes. Upload a CSV or Excel file, or pick from your phone contacts. We match columns like name, email, address and party automatically, and you can fix anything we get wrong before saving.
Who can see our guests' information?
Only you and the collaborators you invite. Guest addresses, emails and meal choices are never shared with vendors or advertisers, and we do not sell data. You can delete your whole wedding at any time.
How do guests RSVP?
Share one link by email, text or on a printed card as a QR code. Guests find their name, answer for their whole party and pick meals. They do not need an account or an app.
Can our wedding planner use it with us?
Yes. Invite your planner as a collaborator on any couple plan. Planners managing several weddings usually choose the Planner plan, which adds a client portal and their own branding.
What if we postpone the wedding?
Change the date and the checklist, payment reminders and countdown move with it. Your access extends to 12 months after the new date at no extra cost.
Can we get a refund?
Yes. If Vowbook isn't right for you, email us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No forms and no questions beyond what we could have done better.
