iOS Engineer (SwiftUI)

Northpaw connects pet owners with a licensed vet over video in under five minutes. About 30,000 consultations a month go through the iOS app, many of them at night when the nearest emergency clinic is an hour away.

You'll be one of three iOS engineers. In your first 90 days you'll rebuild the symptom intake flow in SwiftUI, cut the time from tap to connected vet below 90 seconds, and add photo upload with on-device compression so a vet can see the rash before the call starts. Calls run on WebRTC; the backend is Elixir.

The product team works across US time zones with a daily overlap from 12:00 to 15:00 Eastern. Planning is written, demos are recorded, and the team meets in person twice a year, travel paid.
