Pocketbook Script

A handwritten script with 4 alternates per letter so words never repeat

About this resource

Pocketbook Script was drawn from a designer's notebook handwriting with a fine felt pen. Each lowercase letter has four alternates, and contextual alternates rotate them automatically, so a double letter like the ll in hello never looks stamped. Extras include 60 doodles, arrows and underlines in the same pen style.

It's best for packaging, greeting cards, social graphics and personal brands that need a human touch. The $29 license covers desktop use, web embedding and products for sale up to 5,000 units. The caveat: contextual alternates only work in apps with OpenType support, so in some presentation tools you'll see the default glyphs only.

Highlights

  • 01Four alternates per lowercase letter
  • 02Automatic rotation through contextual alternates
  • 0360 matching doodles and underlines
