AI writing assistant

New · Voice profiles for teams

Your blog is three months stale. Fix that.

Paste five posts you're proud of. Tonebook learns how you sound, then drafts the next ten — outlines, emails, product pages — in your voice, not a chatbot's.

Why it works

Built around how good writers actually revise

01 Rewrite

Same sentence, the tone you meant

Highlight a line that came out stiff and try it friendly, formal or confident side by side. Tonebook keeps your facts and product names intact and only changes how the sentence lands.

  • Five tone presets plus custom
  • Shorten or expand by 30%
  • Keeps product terms intact

02 Brand voice

A voice profile you can actually read

After you add samples, Tonebook shows what it learned: how warm, direct or playful you are, your average sentence length, the words you love and the ones you never use. Move a slider and every new draft follows.

  • Trait sliders you control
  • Banned-word list
  • One profile per brand or client

03 SEO

An SEO score that explains itself

Set a target keyword and watch the score move as you write. The checklist names exactly what's missing — keyword in an H2, a meta description under 155 characters, two internal links. It never asks you to stuff keywords.

  • Live score from 0 to 100
  • Keyword and heading checks
  • Meta title and description

How it works

Samples in. Drafts out.

Most teams have a usable first draft within ten minutes of signing up.

  1. 1

    Add your best writing

Paste URLs or upload documents. Five strong samples are enough for a first voice profile; thirty make it sharp.

  2. 2

    Write the brief

Pick a format, tone, length and target keyword. Add notes like "mention the March pricing change".

  3. 3

    Edit and publish

Get a full draft with an SEO score, tighten it in the editor, then export as Markdown, HTML or .docx.

Features

A sharp editor and a fast first draft, in the same window

Write, rewrite and check without copying text between four tabs.

  1. I.

    Learns your voice

Upload 5 to 50 samples: posts, newsletters, sales pages. Tonebook builds a voice profile with traits, banned words and sentence length you can tweak.

  2. II.

    Long-form drafts

Give it a working title and three bullet points. Get a structured 1,500-word draft with headings, examples and a call to action.

  3. III.

    Rewrite by tone

Select any sentence and switch it to friendly, formal, confident or shorter. The meaning stays; the throat-clearing goes.

  4. IV.

    SEO while you write

Target keyword, headings, internal links, meta description and readability are scored live. No separate tool, no copy-paste.

  5. V.

    Grammar and house style

Catches typos, passive voice and your team's pet phrases. House rules like "sign up" versus "signup" are enforced on every draft.

  6. VI.

    Write in 12 languages

Draft in English, then adapt for German, Spanish or Japanese readers with the same voice profile — not a word-for-word translation.

“Our product pages went from "copy pending" to live in a week. The SEO checklist caught three missing meta descriptions.”

  • “I fed it 40 newsletter issues. The first draft used my sign-off and my habit of opening with a question. Slightly unnerving.”

  • “Four freelancers, one voice profile. Readers can't tell who wrote which post anymore, which is the whole point.”

  • “It flagged "utilize" every single time. Turns out I'd used it 31 times in one quarter. I've stopped.”

Contact support
How many samples does it need to learn our voice?

Five pieces of at least 300 words each give you a usable profile. Around 30 pieces, mixing blog posts, emails and landing pages, usually pushes the voice-match score above 90%. Add or remove samples anytime; the profile updates within a minute.

Do you train AI models on my writing?

No. Your samples and drafts are used only to build your private voice profile and generate your drafts. They never train shared models, and our model providers are contractually barred from training on them. Delete a workspace and everything is gone within 30 days, backups included.

Is the output original?

Every draft is generated fresh from your brief, and long-form drafts run through a plagiarism check against the public web before you see them. Any matching passage longer than 12 words is highlighted so you can rewrite or cite it.

What counts as a long-form draft?

Anything over 500 words: blog posts, guides, case studies, long newsletters. Emails, product descriptions, ad variants and rewrites are unlimited on every plan and never count toward the monthly limit.

How does the SEO score work?

You set a target keyword and Tonebook checks about 20 on-page factors: keyword in the title and H2s, meta description length, internal and external links, image alt text, readability and heading structure. It can't promise rankings; it makes sure the basics are never the reason you don't rank.

Does it work with our CMS?

Every plan exports drafts as Markdown, HTML or .docx, and copying into most editors keeps formatting intact. Pro and Team can push drafts to any CMS via webhook, including title, slug, meta description and image alt text.

Can I cancel or switch plans?

Yes, from the billing page at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades apply at the next billing date. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the paid month and can export every draft first.
