Pocket Allotment

Pocket Allotment gives you one small plot and a shed. Plant seeds and they grow in real time: radishes in a day, pumpkins over two weeks. Check in for a minute in the morning to water, weed and chase off a slug or two. Neighbours on the next plots leave notes, swap seeds and occasionally steal your strawberries.

The illustrations are soft, chunky and full of tiny details, with gentle rain sounds when it is wet outside. There is no ending, just seasons; our curator has played daily for three months. Great for anyone who wants a habit, not a binge. It is free with no ads and an optional seed-pack purchase. The caveat: real-time growth means very little happens in your first week.
