SiteMoment Template License
Template: this template
Licensor: SiteMoment (https://sitemoment.com)
When you buy a template from SiteMoment, you get a license to use it under the terms below. You do not own the template's copyright; SiteMoment keeps it. Buying a license gives you the rights listed here.
Personal license
You may:
- use the template to build one website for yourself, your own project or your own business;
- change the code, design, text and images as much as you like;
- host it anywhere, under any domain, for as long as you like.
You may not:
- use it for client work (building a site for someone else);
- use it for a site whose main purpose is to sell a product or service that you charge for, except to promote your own personal project;
- use it for more than one website. Buy another license for each additional site.
Commercial license
Everything in the personal license, and also:
- unlimited websites, for yourself or for clients;
- client work: you may build sites for clients and charge for your work. Your client may keep and change the site after the work is done. They may not reuse the template for other sites unless they buy their own license;
- sites that sell products, services, subscriptions or ads.
All-Access membership
All-Access gives you every SiteMoment template under the commercial license.
- Yearly: while your membership is active, you may download any template. Every template you download during that time stays licensed to you after the membership ends. You keep using sites you have built, and you keep the commercial rights to templates you downloaded. You may not download new templates or updates after it ends.
- Lifetime: the same rights, with no end date, including templates added later.
Under every license, you may not
- resell, redistribute, sublicense or share the template, or any substantial part of it, as a template, theme, starter kit, boilerplate, UI kit or website builder, whether free or paid, even if you have changed it;
- include it in a product that lets other people build websites from it (for example a site builder or a template marketplace);
- claim that you or anyone other than SiteMoment created the original template;
- publish the template's source in a public repository in a way that lets others copy it as a template. Publishing a finished website that uses it is fine.
Third-party parts
Templates include open-source code, fonts and icons (for example Astro, Tailwind CSS, Lucide icons, Fontsource fonts). Those parts stay under their own licenses, which come with the template (see LICENSE-lucide.txt and the node_modules license files). Sample text, names, logos, people and numbers in the templates are fictional placeholders. Replace them before you publish.
Updates and support
You get updates to your template for 12 months after purchase (All-Access: while active; Lifetime: always). Support is by email and covers questions about using the template, not custom development.
Refunds
Because templates are downloadable files, refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you have not downloaded the template, or if it does not work as described and we cannot fix it. Write to the support address on https://sitemoment.com/refunds.
Warranty and liability
The template is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, SiteMoment is not liable for any damages arising from its use. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.
Ending the license
If you break these terms, your license ends and you must stop using the template in new projects. Sites you already published under a valid license before that may stay online, unless the breach was redistribution.
